Makwanpur police arrested seven people with brown heroin from different places. They were arrested from different places on Friday and Saturday. Among those arrested are two teenage girls.
The police recovered 6 grams and 910 milligrams of brown heroin from the arrested persons. They were arrested by the police team jointly deployed from the district police office and subordinate police offices on the basis of a special information that drug dealing is going on.
20-year-old Satis Lama of Hetaunda-1, 20-year-old Sanjiv Lama of Sanopokhara, 20-year-old Sanjeev Lama of Hetaunda-1, 19-year-old Sandhya Pakhrin of Kalikatar, 19-year-old Sandhya Ghalan of Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-2, 2 grams of brown heroin, 210 milligrams of brown heroin are said to have been seized from the arrested.
Similarly, 2 grams of 910 milligrams of brown heroin was seized from the police check post at Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-15, Ratomate, from the motorcycle driver No. 37 P 6449, along with 27-year-old Aklesh Mahato Kushahwa of Pokhria municipality-1, Bankatwa, Parsa district.
Similarly, 36-year-old Shailendra Choudhary of Lamsure and Rajgarh Rural Municipality-2, Banainia of Saptari district and currently living in district Hetaunda-10, 1 gram of 280 milligrams of brown heroin were recovered from Shambhunath municipality-6 of Saptari district.
The police have informed that all those arrested have been prosecuted in drug-related cases.
