In Makwanpurgarhi village, which is connected to Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city, students are decreasing every year. In the year 2079, there were 7 thousand 514 students in the municipality, but in 2080, 932 students decreased to 6 thousand 582 students.
In the year 2081, one thousand 54 students were enrolled to 5 thousand 426 students, and in this academic session, 5 thousand 29 students have been enrolled. The main reasons for the decrease in the number of students are the decrease in population growth, increasing urbanization, migration out for employment, and adequate service facilities.
There are 15 schools in the municipality that teach up to class 3. There are 17 schools that operate from class 4 onwards.
