23 people were injured when a passenger bus crashed due to brake failure in Kavrepalanchok. According to District Police Office Kavre, a passenger bus accident occurred at Paua located in Bhumlu rural municipality-8 of Kavre at 12:20 pm on Saturday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Meen Bahadur Ghale informed that the passenger bus No. Ba 3 B 8408 was going to Kathmandu from Dorkhani in Ramechhap and the accident happened due to brake failure. Out of 32 people on the bus, 23 passengers were injured.
The injured have been sent to Dhulikhel Hospital in the district for treatment, police said. The bus driver has been detained by the police.
