6 people have been arrested with different amounts of illegal drugs from three separate places in Makwanpur.
3 people were arrested with illegal drug Tramadol from a tea shop located in Hetaunda-2 Sano Pokhara Chowk. Based on information that drug dealing is going on, the police team deputed from District Police Office Makwanpur arrested 42-year-old Saraswati Muktan, 19-year-old Rojan Muktan and 23-year-old Sultan Khan, who lives in Bhimfedi Rural Municipality and currently runs a tea shop in Sano Pokhara. Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal informed that they were arrested with hidden 188 capsules of drug tramadol and 50 grams of marijuana.
Similarly, the police arrested 21-year-old Ankit Dong, who was camping on the old Mankamana path in Hetaunda 2, with a nitrovete. Spokesperson Aryal said that 111 tablets of Nitravet and 531 capsules of Tramadol were found in Kotha Khantalasi.
Similarly, the police arrested 22-year-old Naveen Shrestha and 26-year-old Vijay Bal of Hetaunda 12 with drugs. The police found 22 tablets of the drug Nitravet and 9 packs of cigarettes with them.
