Makwanpur District Court has ordered that a young man who was arrested on the charge of murdering his brother-in-law be sent to prison for preliminary investigation.
District Judge Gita Shrestha's bench sitting on Tuesday ordered 35-year-old brother-in-law Bimalman Gopali of Thaha Municipality-1 Kunchhal to be remanded in custody on the charge of murdering his 50-year-old sister-in-law Tulumaya Gopali of Thaha Municipality-1 Kunchhal.
On June 5, 2082, the police arrested Bimalman on the charge of murdering his sister-in-law by hitting her in the neck in a house fire. The sister-in-law had been reminding the brother-in-law not to take drugs and alcohol. Because of the
reminder, brother-in-law and sister-in-law did not speak for the past one year. But they lived in the same house. The stove was separate. Bimalman suddenly killed his sister-in-law by stabbing her in the neck when she was out in the fire.
Palung area police office in Thana Bazar in Thaha Municipality arrested him with the machete used to kill his brother-in-law.
