After the road was blocked due to floods and landslides at three places under the BP highway, Bhakundevesi-Nepalthok section, the Sindhuli police have detained the vehicles for the safety of passengers and vehicles.
According to the police, the road was cut off by the flood of Mamti river in Kavre, landslides occurred in Pinthali and Biruwadanda, and the vehicles going to the capital via Sindhuli via BP highway were held up.
Headquarter Sindhulimadi, Hirapani Checkpost, Khurkot, and other places where there is no possibility of landslides have been held in hundreds for the safety of passengers and vehicles.
There is a long one-way jam when the vehicles and freight vehicles going to Kathmandu are held up and the passengers are stranded. Apart from BP, the vehicles coming through Madanpahari and Madan Bhandari Lokmarg have also been stopped.
