504 girl students from different municipalities of the district have been supported in education. In Kavre's Panchkhal, Namobuddha, Dhulikhel and Mandandeupur municipalities as well as in Roshi rural municipality, 504 girls, 390 from classes 1 to 10 and 114 studying in classes 11 and 12, have been supported for education this year.
Rural Health and Education Service Guthi (REST) has supported the education of 5 local level girls of Kavre with the help of American Himalayan Foundation and Foundation for and Just Society International. The
organization supports the students studying from class 1 to 10 with stationery, bags, clothes and wages for the whole year at the rate of 800 per person and also supports the parents for extra exams and admission fees at the rate of 2,200. Umesh Nepal, the senior field officer of the organization informed that students in class 8 and 9 are supported at the rate of 2,000 for extra classes, 800 for extra books for students in class 9 and 10, 7,000 for secondary education examination (SEE) preparation and 5,000 for technical skills.
According to him, in class 11 and 12, he has been supporting 4,500 for students' clothes, 4,500 to 5,500 for books, 1,500 to 3,000 for car rent, 3,000 for room rent and all college fees. REST has supported the education of more than 5,000 girls in 19 schools of five local levels in Kavre since 2059.
Poornima Shrestha of Panchkhal expressed her gratitude to the institution saying that she was able to continue her studies with the help she got from the institution. Hiramani Pyakurel, the parent of the girl who received a scholarship from REST, thanked the organization saying that without the help of the organization, she could not have brought her daughter to this place. Kamala Adhikari, president of 
organization, informed that she started the organization in the year 2049 as a scholarship program after seeing that girls were lagging behind due to lack of education, violence and exploitation. Stating that the organization is supporting her education up to class 12, she said that she should be able to afford her education and expenses after that. It has been mentioned in the social test report of the various schemes conducted by REST under the program that the
program contributed to the education of female students, helped to prevent trafficking, sexual violence and child marriage, and reduced the school dropout rate. In the report, it is suggested to increase the scope and number of the organization by saying that it has provided a lot of support for the education of female students at various local levels of Kavre district with limited resources and means.
