A young man has gone missing while swimming in Makwanpur's Indrasarovar. Makwanpur district police office said that a young man went missing while swimming in the Simlang river of Makwanpur's Indrasarovar rural municipality-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Makwanpur Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal has informed that Pranay Gupta, 17/18 years old, alias Karna, who was born in Kalaiya-1, Bara, and currently lives in Kathmandu Maitighar, has gone missing. It is said that Gupta came to Markhu with his friends and drowned while swimming in Simlang river.

After getting the information about the incident, the team of Palung and Chitlang area police offices were mobilized and the search operation is continuing, the police said.
