Three people have been arrested for stealing Buddha's garland.

Those arrested are 19-year-old Vivek Lama of Ward No. 4 of Mahabharat village of Kavre, 20-year-old Milan Moktan of Ward No. 2 and 19-year-old Labad Tamang of Ward No. 3.  

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Twati, Head of Banepa Area Police Office, on the night of June 21  Banepa Municipality Ward No.-10 Resham Marg Bhavani Pandey's house compound had a garland of Buddha Chitta stolen.

Buddhachitta's rosary worth around 8 lakh rupees was stolen . The three arrested persons have been charged with the crime of theft and robbery and the Kavrepalanchok district court has extended the deadline by four days.
