District Traffic Police Office Kavre has informed that two-way traffic has been resumed on the VP highway which was blocked due to last night's rain.
According to the office, due to landslides in Pingthali, Charsayweshi and Mangaltar of Bhakunde-Nepalthok road section under the VP highway, the road was blocked since 1 o'clock in the night.
The chief police inspector of the office, Sunil Dhanju, informed that the vehicles going from Kathmandu to Sindhuli were held at Kavrebhanjyang and the vehicles coming from Sindhuli to Kathmandu were held at Mangaltar so that there would be no problem for vehicles and passengers on the highway due to landslides.
According to him, now the landslide has moved away from that place. He said that two-way traffic has now been resumed on the highway.
