After the landslide was removed, the Kantilokpath became operational after five hours.  The rain that fell on Tuesday night caused a landslide in Gangte on the Thingan-Vagua road section under the Kanti Lokpath and the road was blocked from 5 am on Wednesday morning.

The local residents and the police removed the landslide using dozers and brought the Kanti Lokpath into operation from 10 am.

"The Kanti Lokpath was blocked since the morning due to a large landslide on the road," Vidyasagar Mehta, police inspector of the area police office Thingan said, "Vehicles have started moving on the Lokpath after the landslide cleared."

Vehicles going from Hetaunda to Kathmandu via Kanti Lokpath were stopped at Thingan, while vehicles coming from Kathmandu to Hetaunda were stopped at Baguwa. Now the vehicles in both directions have gone to their respective destinations.
