District Administration Office Dolakha has issued a notice to the residents of the coastal area to be cautious saying that the Tamakosi River and its tributaries may be flooded.

On Wednesday afternoon, the administration asked to be alert as there may be floods in Tamakosi and its surrounding rivers.

The notice issued by Chief District Officer Shivram Gelal has said that there is a risk of floods and landslides due to high and moderate rainfall in the upper areas of Dolakha including Tibet.

Due to continuous rains, the Tamakosi river is rising, so the locals have been asked not to go near the river.
