Two people died when a school bus and a motorcycle collided in Namobuddha municipality-2, Selfifanda under the BP highway in the district.
Police station Bhakundebensi informed that the school bus of Sagun Vidya Mandir No. Ba 4 B 71 and motorcycle No. Ba 71 P 6880 from the opposite direction collided with each other on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm. In
, 23-year-old Pasang Tamang of Namobuddha Municipality-2 and 22-year-old Vijay Tamang of Namobuddha Municipality-2 were seriously injured in the accident and died in Dhulikhel Hospital during treatment, Police Deputy Inspector Gopal Khadka informed.
The police said that the driver of the bus is absconding and the search for him is continuing. The bus is under police control. It is said that the police are conducting necessary investigations on the incident.
