The ward office, health post and house are at risk after a landslide occurred in Chautara Sangachokgadhi municipality-1, Syaule on Thursday evening along with incessant rain.
According to District Police Office Sindhupalchok, due to continuous rain since around 11 o'clock at night, a landslide occurred in Ward no. Important structures such as the office of 1 and the nearby health post are at risk.
'Apart from this, one of the windows of the three-storied brick and cement house of local Keshavalal Shrestha has been damaged by the landslide, and the risk has increased as the ground started flowing from the bottom of the building and the settlement,' said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhavraj Kharel.
