The driver of an Indian lorry truck was killed in an accident at Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-15 Ratomate under East West Rajmarth. The co-driver was injured.
UP 61 AT 0962 carrying coal for Riddhisiddhi Cement Industry located in Hetaunda-15 from Banaras broke down and the driver, whose name has not been disclosed, was crushed to death by the truck. The driver 26-year-old Manoj Yadav from Ghazipur, India has been injured. Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of Makwanpur District Police Office, said that he is being treated at Hetaunda Hospital.
At 2:30 am on Tuesday morning, the truck overturned due to brake failure near the charging station in Ratomate.
