The police rescued a young man who was stuck in a trap amid the rapid flow of Bhotekoshi river on Monday.
According to local police Kodari, a 27-year-old youth got stuck in the bend of the river in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-4, Khokundol on Monday morning.
The youth, whose identity could not be revealed, was rescued by a joint team of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force. Based on the language, there is a preliminary estimate that she is from India, her mental balance is not right. It has been seen that after the locals saw it from the other side, we rushed to the rescue as soon as we got the news,' said Jagat Bahadur Rai, police inspector of the area police office, Kodari.
He informed that five policemen and a team of armed police have been mobilized under his leadership. The police said that after an hour of effort, the young man was safely pulled out of the river. Currently, the young man's health condition is normal.
