An Indian citizen was injured when a tree fell on the road section leading to Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-15 Riddhisiddhi Cement Industry under the East-West Highway.

Kanhaiya Kumar, 20 years old of Bharat Madhuvan-5, who was riding an Indian motorcycle numbered BR 32 AK 1241 coming from Birgunj towards Hetaunda, was injured when a tree fell on him. 

He is being treated at Hetaunda Hospital, police said. The east-west highway was blocked for some time due to a fallen tree on the road. Immediately the police arrived and removed the obstruction and opened the road.
