Due to incessant rain, the house of a Chepang in a remote village of Makwanpur has been destroyed.
Raksirang Rural Municipality-9 Simaltar's Phulchari Chepang, a two-storied house covered with clay mud and zinc leaves collapsed due to the incessant rain on Saturday.
After the two-storied house Garlammgurlumm collapsed, they are living in a shed near the house. Rajkumar Malla, chairman of the rural municipality, said that there were no casualties as they managed to escape after the house collapsed.
The Chepang family of eight people are now sheltering in a cattle shed. It has been raining in Raksirang and Kailash areas of Makwanpur since Saturday.
