A python was found in Manhari rural municipality-5 of Makwanpur. Ward president Dipendra Adhikari said that the python found in the house of local Navraj Upreti was rescued by the locals and left in the forest.

A 5 feet long python weighing 5 kg 300 grams was found on Friday.

The presence of wildlife in Manahari, which is an intermediate area between Chitwan and Parsa National Parks, and wild animals are causing damage to humans and crops.

Even a month ago, a python weighing 12 kg was rescued and left in the forest, said the ward head officer.

Now since 9 pm, wild elephants have been coming towards the human settlements and causing damage to the crops, according to the Ward President Officer.
