Two persons were injured when a Bolero jeep and a motorcycle collided at the 21 Kilo Mode area located in Lisankhupakhar rural municipality-5 of the district.
According to the police station Bolupakhar, on Saturday, a jeep with the number Ba P 01035 Ch 2336 and a motorcycle with the number Ba 87 P 2854 collided with each other. The injured motorcycle driver is 48-year-old Nandkishore Thapa of Lalitpur Godavari Municipality and his wife Sharda, 44, who was riding on the motorcycle. The injured couple walked to Kathmandu and the jeep went to Dolakha.
Police said that the injured were taken to Sindhu Sadawahar Hospital in Khadichour for treatment immediately after the accident. "The driver has been detained with a bolero at the police station," said Bhagwan Kharel, assistant inspector of the police station, Tlakhapakhar.
