Narayangadh-Muglin road closure time has been extended till 3 pm.
The road was closed from 11 am this morning to clear the stones that could fall on the road. Although the road was said to be closed till 1 o'clock, the time has been extended due to the work not being completed, according to the Divisional Road Office, Bharatpur. Arjun Ghimire, engineer of the
office, said that it will take time to remove the big stones from above. Those who wear it in tuin khela are always checked. The Narayangadh-Muglin road is the main road connecting the capital Kathmandu and the tourist town Pekhara with the eastern and western parts of the country. Thousands of vehicles are stuck when the highway is closed.
Site engineer Arjun Ghimire said that five machines including an excavator working at height are working, so they can work within 3 o'clock.
