Bagmati rural municipality has introduced a policy that from the coming year, the people's representatives and government employees of the rural municipality must enroll their children in public schools.

Presenting the budget in the village assembly, the village head Timalsina said that half of the total budget has been allocated to the social development sector in the coming financial year. Vice President Timalsina informed that the maximum budget of 42 million rupees has been allocated for various programs in the social sector. 

17 million for infrastructure development, 12.6 million for office operation and administrative, 1.16 million for environment and disaster management, 5.43 million for economic development and 4.54 million for good governance and institutional development.

Deputy Chairman Timalsina said that he is preparing to establish a crusher industry in the next financial year 2082/83 in order to increase the internal income by using the local resources of the rural municipality. A budget of 5.75 million has been proposed for the establishment of crusher industry. Gapa said that the plan to pass the policy, program and budget presented by the municipality on June 28th.
