Three people died in two places in Rasuwa. District Police Office Rasuwa said that the bodies of two girls were found in Paakhola on the border of Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 and Kalika Rural Municipality-5 and a woman was crushed to death by a ladder in Kalika-1 Grand village.
District Chief Hem Bahadur Shahi said that the two daughters of Lal Bahadur Muktan of Naukunda-5 Sisneri, 13-year-old Sargam Muktan and 10-year-old Savina Muktan, were found dead in the river on Tuesday, and Chirki Tamang, 43, of Grang, was injured when the ladder of the under-construction Buddhist monastery collapsed and died on the way to the district hospital during treatment.
Two girls have been sent to Trishuli Hospital for autopsy. The police are continuing to investigate the death of the three people.
