Thaha municipality has been declared as a full sustainability assurance municipality.
Taha Municipality Vaccination Coordinating Committee Coordinator and Mayor Vishnu Bista and District Public Health Office Makwanpur Public Health Administrator Krishna Mizar jointly announced this during a ceremony on Tuesday. In Makwanpur district, six municipalities including Taha municipality have been declared as 'full vaccine sustainability guaranteed municipality'. Now four municipalities are yet to be announced.
Purnkhop Municipality has been announced with the slogan 'Poornkhop secure future, use of local resources, ownership and participation is our commitment.'
According to Meghraj Balami, Head of the City Health Branch, after declaring full vaccination coverage to all the wards of the city in the first phase, the sustainability of vaccination has been ensured this year based on the set indicators and the 'Full Vaccination Guideline 2071'.
