Water pipes have been installed in the houses of the residents of the remote areas of Thaha Municipality of Makwanpur.
The residents of Thaha municipality-12 Liti village are happy after the water started coming in the yard itself. According to the municipality's basic water service expansion policy, 'one house, one stream' has been constructed in Litigaon.
City chief Bishnu Bahadur Bishta inaugurated the water supply project which was extended to 250 houses in Litigaon during a ceremony. A 19 km long pipe has been extended for drinking water distributed from the mouth of the Mel river in Tistung.
