The road connecting Hetaunda-Kathmandu has been blocked since Sunday morning due to Kantilokpath landslide. The road was blocked due to landslides at various places under Kantilokpath due to the rain since Saturday evening.
Vidyasagar Mehta, police inspector of Thingan, IPR, said that the road was blocked since Sunday morning due to a landslide on the stairs of the Thingan-Vagua road section of Kantilokpath.
The police said that there is no condition to move vehicles on the road due to the landslide from above.
District Police Office Makwanpur Police Inspector Thakur Sapkota said that a landslide fell from the road at Shikharkateri of Makwanpurgadhi under Kantilokpath and the road was blocked due to falling trees. The police said that it was difficult to remove the obstruction as it was raining in both the places.
