The said industry has yet to pay 45 lakh 84 thousand taxes from the financial year 2078/79. Sri Kalidevi brick industry in ward number 6 of the municipality has been locked for non-payment of taxes.
The municipality said that the said industry has not paid 61 lakhs, 84 thousand taxes. Similarly, Shree Chandeni Nagarkot Brix Industries Pvt Ltd operating in Ward 6 has been locked. The municipality has informed that the said industry is not registered in the municipality. According to Waiba, the head of the municipality, the industries that do not complete the registration, tax payment and renewal process on time will be punished according to the law.
