10 people were injured when a bus hit an 'on test' car at Diver Danda, Hetaunda sub-metropolis on East-West Highway.

The injured are being treated at Hetaunda Hospital. District Police Office Makwanpur has informed that 6 people in the car and 4 people in the bus were injured because the bus No. 5 B 2970 coming from Birganj towards Hetaunda failed to brake and hit the 'on test' car going from Hetaunda to Birganj.

The bus also hit the tanker No. 8 B 440 coming from Birgunj towards Hetaunda from behind. The police said that the bus hit a car and a tanker due to brake failure. The bus, whose brakes failed, stopped only after it hit a tree 100 meters from the road.
