A young man died on Wednesday evening due to lightning that accompanied the storm.
22-year-old Kancha Gole died in Kailash Rural Municipality-9, Kitbhanjyang of Makwanpur. He was struck by lightning while sitting in the yard of the house and died on the spot. Makwanpur District Police Office has informed.
Due to the incident in a remote area, the police team is heading towards it this morning to find out more.
Makwanpur was struck by lightning in the 11th month of the current financial year. Four people have died and nine people have been injured.
