One person was injured while extinguishing a fire at a cellar mill in Makwanpur's Manhari Rural Municipality.

68-year-old Krishna Lataula of Manahari Rural Municipality-1 was burnt and injured while trying to put out the fire in the mill. A fire broke out in the cellar mill connected to Lataula's house due to a power cut.

The house was completely destroyed by fire and the property worth about 1.3 lakh including mill machinery equipment, grain leaves, prepared wood etc. inside the house was destroyed by fire, police said.

The fire at the mill was completely brought under control at 5:30 pm on Monday with the help of fire brigade, police and locals of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city. The fire broke out around 2 pm.
