Bagmati Province Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama Tamang has said that electronic charging stations are necessary for environment protection. He suggested to expand such services as Nepalese money will be prevented from going abroad because of the station.
Inaugurating the charging station in Hetaunda on Sunday, Chief Minister Lama also asked the Chinese company Huawei, which brings new technology to Nepal, to expand its knowledge to the Nepali market and create an environment of cooperation.

In the program, Deputy Metropolitan Chief Meenakumari Lama said that the charging station will help to make Hetaunda's green identity more beautiful. He said that the environment of the capital city of the province can be kept clean by being safe from smoke and dust. Presha Shrestha, head of the vehicle charging station, informed that the vehicle will be fully charged within 5 to 15 minutes from the station that has been operating. She said that after a long effort of about 11 months, she was able to bring the environment-friendly service into operation.
