The policies and programs introduced by the Bagmati Province government for the next fiscal year 2082/83 have been passed by a majority. In the provincial assembly meeting on Wednesday, Speaker Bhuvan Kumar Pathak presented the policy and program for decision, and the policy and program were passed by a majority.

Before that, Bahadur Singh Lama, Chief Minister of Bagmati State Government, answered the questions raised in the House on the policies and programs of the financial year. He claimed that the policies and programs brought by the government are excellent. 

Chief Minister Lama said that everyone should unite to reduce current expenditure. He said that in order to reduce current expenses, sustainable programs are necessary, besides not increasing unnecessary structures. Chief Minister Lama said that it is necessary to evaluate the amount of educational schemes and also to review the investments made by the state government.

He opined that the provincial government should also cooperate with the private sector and move forward. How much property does anyone have to control the issue of corruption in the House? He asked everyone to prepare the data by creating a method.

Chief Minister Lama said that the small projects in the province are flourishing and he gave priority to make the big schemes sustainable. Lama asserted that in order to keep the economy running, he emphasized on not only popular but also sustainable development programs. He also asserted that the policies and programs will strengthen the economic and social sectors of Bagmati province in addition to making the province well-governed and self-reliant.

Earlier on 14th June, MPs expressed their views on the policies and programs of the government for the next financial year presented by the state chief Deepak Prasad Devkota on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Speaker Pathak informed that the meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly has been adjourned on June 30 at 1 pm.
