The woman who died in a bus accident in Bethanchok Rural Municipality-6 of Kavrepalanchok has been identified. Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale informed that 65-year-old Krishnamaya Timalsina of Banepa Municipality-9 Nayabasti died in the accident.

At 5:40 pm on Wednesday, the bus No. Ba 3 B 4435, which was going to Medamchu from Panauti Bus Park, slipped and fell down about 35 meters from the road. Among those injured in the accident are bus driver Ramprasad Dhungana, 41, of Bethanchok-6, Sangeeta Acharya, 32, of Banepa-9 and her 1-year-old daughter, Sargam Timalsina.

He said that the injured driver was sent to Sheer Memorial Hospital, Banepa. Sangeeta's mother and daughter have been referred to Dhulikhel Hospital. 

There were seven passengers including the driver and the co-driver in the bus, said Information Officer Ghale. He said that the co-driver and others were safe. According to the police, a detailed investigation into the accident is underway.
