A father and son fell ill after eating poisonous mushrooms in Makwanpur. 61-year-old Bir Bahadur Tamang and his 8-year-old son Vasant Titung of Makwapanurgarhi Rural Municipality-8 Akare fell ill after eating mushrooms.

They have been brought to Sancho Hospital in Hetaunda for treatment. Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of Makwanpur District Police Office said that they are being treated. 

Veer Bahadur picked and cooked mushrooms that grew in his garden. After eating mushrooms, both of them were taken to the hospital for headache and diarrhea.

Now the condition of both is improving, the police said
