Rubina Rumba of Thaha Municipality-4, Narayan Jhyauki of Makwanpur has been given a citizenship certificate at the initiative of the ward.
Rumba cannot walk due to physical and mental disabilities. In coordination with the ward office, the 22-year-old Rumba was taken to the district administration office in Hetaunda in the city's vehicle and provided with a citizenship certificate.
Chief District Officer Skim Shrestha came to the courtyard of the District Administration Office and provided citizenship to Rumba. She promised that the administration would provide service at home for those unable to come to the district administration office due to physical disability.
The Ward President Narayan Lama said that the Ward Office is working to end the situation where the extremely weak and disabled cannot come to the administration office and they are deprived of citizenship and social security allowance. In the year 2080, two people with physical and mental disabilities were brought to the administration office and provided with citizenship certificates.
