A stone fell on the bus at Simaltal on Narayangadh-Muglin road, the door was damaged

A stone fell from the top of a bus that was moving near Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 Simaltal on Narayangadh-Muglin road on Thursday night around 2:30. According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the bus door and the side of the door were damaged due to stones.

The spokesperson of Chitwan District Police Office, DSP Rabindra Khanal, said that the bus No. 2 B 2142, which was coming from Kathmandu to Arghakhanchi towards Narayangadh, was hit by a stone that fell from the road.  DSP Khanal said that even though the door and side of the door were damaged, nobody in the bus was hurt and the road was not obstructed, but the driver Rem Bahadur Thapa took the bus to its destination. Narayangadh-Muglin road is full of risk during drought.

Last year, on June 28, two passengers went missing after falling into the Trishuli River when a bus was on the road near Simaltal. On the same day, the driver died when a large stone fell on a passenger bus a little above Simaltal.
