A laborer was injured today when the dry land first fell in the Suryavinayak-Sanga section under the Araniko highway.
Suryabinayak Municipality-10 Sanga, when a dry landslide fell under the suspension bridge, the laborer who was working on road expansion was buried and injured. 52-year-old Tularam Tharu, who lives in Barbardia Municipality-5 of Bardia and currently lives in Suryavinayak-9 Palanse, has been informed by District Police Complex Bhaktapur. Police said that the injured were immediately rescued and taken to Suryavinayak Nagar Hospital for treatment.
Landslide problem has been observed during road expansion in Jagati-Sanga section and Sanga-Dhulikhel section of Bhaktapur. Due to the delay in the construction of the road, travelers have been traveling dangerously.
