Kanti Lokpath has been blocked since Friday evening due to floods in Bagmati river due to rain. The Kanti Lokpath was blocked after the flood washed away the gravel filled on the side of the bridge in the Bagati River of the Kanti Lokpath road section.
Deputy Superintendent and Spokesperson Police Shyamu Aryal of District Police Office Makwanpur said that Kanti Lok has been blocked since 8 pm due to the rains and gravel filled on both sides of the Bagmati Bridge between Makwanpur's Bhimfedi Rural Municipality-8 and Lalitpur's Bagmati Rural Municipality-2.
Local residents, police and road department of Thingan of IPR are trying to open the road . Kanti Lokpath has been blocked due to Bagmati river flowing the gravel filled right and left of Bagmati bridge and the hump pipe placed in the river.
