The policy and program of Bagmati Province for the next fiscal year 2082/083 will be submitted to the meeting of the Provincial Assembly on May 14.
Speaker Bhuvan Kumar Pathak, while ending the meeting on Thursday, informed that the next meeting of the Provincial Assembly will be held on June 14, and that day at 1 o'clock, the Chief Minister Deepak Prasad Devkota will present the policy and program for the coming year. He also requested the MPs to be present in formal attire 30 minutes before the scheduled time on that day. In the
meeting, Kundanraj Kafle, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Bagmati Province, said that the next year's budget will be allocated while maintaining financial discipline. Responding to the questions raised in the discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill, 2082 in the Provincial Assembly, Minister Kafle has expressed his commitment that the budget will be formulated in such a way as to emphasize strategic roads, disaster risk reduction, and commercialization of the agricultural sector. He also claims that financial accountability will be enhanced in the
budget system. "Effective implementation of financial federalism is necessary to achieve development and prosperity through the federal government system," he said, adding that he is determined to implement the principles and priorities of investing in areas that increase productivity while reducing current expenditures and increasing capital expenditures.
Minister Kafle emphasized that the trend of ignoring the good aspects by pointing out the anomalies in the society should be stopped. Today's need is to communicate hope by breaking the despair of the people. We will allocate the next year's budget keeping in mind the resources and means of the province, Kafle expressed his commitment in the House.
