The fugitive accused of the bus accident in Tinkilo of Sunkoshi rural municipality-7 of the district, which killed three people, has been arrested after eight years.
According to the local police Bahrbise, on 28th Baisakh 28, 2074, three people were killed when the bus No. 3 B 5056 overturned. After the incident, the driver of the bus, Mankaji Lamichhane, 31 years old from Dolakha Kalinchok Rural Municipality-2, Babare, was absconding.
After eight years, the police team arrested Lamichhane on Tuesday, said Police Inspector Sumesh Pandey of District Police Bharbise. "The respectable Sindhupalchok District Court process is going on under control, the investigation work is being carried out with the order of the court extending the deadline by 5 days," he said.
