A young man who went to Dahakhani View Resort in Ichchakamana rural municipality-7 of Chitwan along with his friends was found dead in the swimming pool.
After the incident that happened on Tuesday evening, the Chitwan police arrested eight people and started investigation. According to Chitwan Police Office spokesperson DSP Ravindra Khanal, 25-year-old Lokesh Mahato of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-22 Patihani had gone to the resort with 10 friends.
He went to the swimming pool to take a bath with his friends. After not returning for a long time, he was found floating in the swimming pool.
He was taken to the Old Medical College Bharatpur teaching hospital for treatment, but the doctors there declared him dead. According to DSP Khanal, as the incident is suspicious, his friends have been arrested and investigation has been started.
