The Kanti Lokpath, which was blocked due to the rains, has become one-way operational.
The Kanti Lokpath was completely closed due to the flooding of the Bagmati river due to the rains that fell on Sunday night and the humpipes of the diversion were swept away. District Police Office Hetounda has informed that arrangements have been made for one-way movement of small vehicles (cars, jeeps and motorcycles) from the under-construction bridge at Kanti Lokpath road section.
Large vehicles have been banned from moving in the Bagmati River until a diversion is made. Bhimfedi-8 of Makwanpur and Bagmati Rural Municipality-2 were carrying out bridge maintenance on the Bagmati River, so vehicles were coming and going from the diversion. Earlier also on 21st Baisakh, Kanti Lokpath was blocked due to diversion.
