An Indian citizen who was injured in an accident while coming from Birgunj to Kathmandu has died during treatment. 60-year-old Lalan Chaudhary of India's Motihari district, who was injured in the accident, died during treatment.

 He died on Saturday evening during treatment at Narvik Hospital in Kathmandu. The alternative route to enter Hetauda-Kathmandu is Kulekhani-Fakhel road section, while retreating after not being able to climb the Mahalakshmi River. The back of the Tata Sumo No. 1 J 2429 hit the wall.

Chaudhary, who was riding in the back seat of the sumo, was injured when it hit the wall. It was going to Kathmandu from Birganj. Sumo driver Bara Gadhimai Municipality-11  28-year-old Manoj Chaudhary has been taken into custody by the provincial police office Hetauda.
