The gale that accompanied the rain has blown away the tin roof of a school and a house in the remote Raksirang village of Makwanpur.
Raksirang Rural Municipality-9, Tensurang Primary School in Tensurang, the zinc leaf roof of the two-storey building was blown off by a storm that came with water on Friday evening, according to Manhari, Ela Police Office.
Along with the zinc leaves, the wooden beams on the roof have also been blown away by the wind. Similarly, the zinc sheet roof of Vimala Bal's house in Raksirang Rural Municipality-5 Chainpur has been blown away by the wind.
On Friday evening, trees were felled by the wind that came with rain in different areas of Makwanpur.
