In Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 Kisanchowk, a person has stabbed his own daughter, brother's son and himself with a sharp weapon.
The Chitwan police said that the son of the accused's brother, who was seriously injured by a khurpa in the incident which took place around 10 am on Friday, died during treatment. According to the police, the accused who hit himself with a khurpa and his daughter are being treated in a serious condition.
According to Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Ravindra Khanal, 42-year-old Lilaraj Giri of Bharatpur-25 killed his seven-year-old daughter Prabha Giri and his Five-year-old Sajan Giri, the brother's son, was hit by a khurpa and injured. Then DSP Khanal said that Leela hit herself with the same khurpa.
The three seriously injured were admitted to Chitwan Medical College's teaching hospital in Bharatpur for treatment. DSP Khanal informed that the five-year-old boy Sajan Giri died around 10:30 am during the treatment.
The police say that Lilaraj, who hit Khurpa, is not mentally stable. DSP Khanal, who is also a land surveyor, told him. He informed that further investigation is being done about the incident.
