A fire broke out in a house in Agal located in Banepa Municipality-4 of Kavre.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghal informed that at around 1:20 am on Thursday morning, the fire broke out in the 2-storey house with brick walls and zinc roof of Rameshwar Dahal, a resident of Banepa Municipality Ward No. 4, Kavre.

According to him, immediately after receiving the information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and with the help of the police and locals, the fire was completely brought under control at around 2:30 in the morning.

The food, utensils, clothes and the house inside the house were completely burnt due to the fire and the damage was worth about 12 lakh rupees, he said. According to him, there was no human or animal damage in the fire.
