A woman has gone missing after being swept away by a river in Subba village of Panauti Municipality-5.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Meen Bahadur Ghale informed that Renuka Giri, the 33-year-old wife of local Rajesh Giriki, was swept away by a steep stream at Dhalam near Subba village around 6:00 pm on Monday evening. According to him, Giri disappeared after being swept away by the river while returning home from her farm. After the

incident, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepali Army teams are continuing the search operation. She has not been found yet.
