The Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Bahadur Singh Lama Tamang, has claimed that Hetaunda Cement Industry, which is going to be privatized by the federal government, will be turned into profit within 2 years after handing it over to the provincial government.

He insisted that by giving the provincial government the responsibility of running the industry, employment would increase and the industry would also run profitably. He said this at the 'Chief Minister with Youth' program of the youth conference organized by the Bagmati Province Youth Council in Hetaunda on Tuesday.
