Former President Ramvaran Yadav has expressed his belief that peace will be established in the world. While inaugurating the Panauti-Namobuddha peace walk program in Kavre on Monday, Yadav said that he believes that the program conducted on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti will establish peace around the world.

He said that this program will also help to make the identity of Panauti and Namobuddha known to the world. He said that this kind of program will also help Panauti and Namobuddha to be listed as world heritage sites. It is known as a historical and religious and touristic place. He said, "It is believed that the peace walk will develop tourism here."

Bagmati Provincial Assembly member Tirtha Lama said that besides spreading the message of peace and harmony to the world, it will help in the promotion of local art and culture, as well as promote internal and external tourism. Similarly, Panauti city chief Ramsharan Bhandari said that it is believed that Panauti will be listed as a world heritage site with this program.

Kavre Seva Samaj chairman Purushottam Nepal informed that the peace walk was organized with the main support of Kathmandu Tourism Office, the local municipality of Kavre and the support of various partners.
