Makwanpur police has arrested a person who was carrying fake notes. 42-year-old Ramakrishna Adhikari, who hails from Gangajamuna Rural Municipality-2 of Dhading and is currently living in Hetounda-8, was arrested by the police with fake notes.

The police found 186 fake notes of Rs 500, i.e. 93 thousand, from him.

During checking at Hetaunda-15, Ratomate under the East-West Highway, a motorcycle numbered Ba.33 P 9983 coming from Bardibas towards Hetaunda was arrested with fake notes, according to Makwanpur District Police Office. On the basis of suspicion, while searching his bag, a fake note was found hidden in his bag, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal, spokesperson of District Police Office Makwanpur informed. He said that the necessary investigation process has been started with permission from the Makwanpur District Court for 7 days in the case of money related offense to the officer.
